5 Best Google Products for Webmasters and Bloggers

This is my list of the best Google products to help bloggers and webmasters online.

Google Products

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free Google service which provides websites with a detailed analysis of their traffic. While there are tons of companies online which provide similar services, but Google Analytics beats them all by its quality and being costless at the same time. No surprise it's the most widely used website statistics service.

To get started with Google Analytics, you just need a Google account and then link it to Google Analytics. Configure your website, and Google Analytics will provide you with a simple HTML code that you will need to put in the head section of your website code. Paste the code and you're all set to get your stats.

Google Webmaster Tools

While Google Analytics provides you with in-depth analysis of your traffic, Webmaster Tools shows you about how you're site is doing at the search engines.
Google Webmaster Tools is Google's way of helping website owners get better visibility in search engines. Webmasters can submit sitemaps, check indexing status, detect any coding disorders which might affect a site's position in SERPs. It also lists the incoming links to a website.

Google Adwords

Adwords is Google's product for advertisers. Google Adwords is what keeps Google running by being the most important revenue source.
Google Adwords collects ads and charges the advertisers on pay-per-click or pay-per-impression basis. These ads are then posted on similar websites through another Google service called Adsense.
Obviously, Adwords is not a free service. So, its not for everyone. Especially for newbies. But nevertheless, it's a great way to increase your traffic online.

Google Web Fonts

Google Web Fonts is a specialized service. It allows website owners to embed creative fonts in sites. I personally love it.
Google Web fonts have thousands of fonts in their library. These fonts are free to use. You can embed them on your website with a simple HTML code. It's extremely easy and adds an expert touch in your webpages.

Google Trends

One fine day, you sit down in front of your PC. You want to write an amazing post for your blog. You have all the words, all the skills, all the quality, but wait a sec, what should you write about? That is when Google Trends comes to rescue. Google Trends supplies the latest trends about any topic.
It tells you which queries have been most searched on Google in the last month or so. These statistics can help you in many ways. By telling you what's hot right now in your niche. What is making buzz and getting the attention. So, you could jolt it down to be a part of the excitement.
